I’ve been an active part of the WFIM board for many years. I’ve been hands on, and passionately involved in whatever needed to be done as a part of the WFIM team. I’m part of Women in Food Industry Management because I care deeply about the sector and the women who are part of it.  My platform was “Pay it Forward” – to listen, learn and share what our members need most. From my perspective the need is greatest in face to face connections. It’s leading the board in an accountable and measurable way.

As a hands-on Chair, I’m listening and will do my utmost to implement the rules of good governance.  My goal is to ensure that WFIM is more approachable, to mentor our new members and to be available for support and advice for all members.

We live in a world of high technology and little contact.  Everyone is a name or number with only impersonal contact via email.  During my time as Chair of WFIM I will make sure that we have face to face connections, where we all get to know each other.

We need to connect and feel secure when life throws us a challenge. Our Job Board is active and our results are excellent. Our events run smoothly and are well attended. Our membership is growing and our retention rate is up. We are proud of our organization and the women who are part of it – we encourage you to consider joining us!
